Flare
When you play BattleBit Remastered for the first time, it’s easy to miss the flare. This thing you can throw doesn’t seem to do much. It doesn’t hurt the enemy and it doesn’t stop them, so what could it possibly be good for? Flares are a very situational item to take in this game, but they do have a huge advantage over other throwables that can’t be ignored. Every map in BattleBit Remastered can be played both during the day and at night. On daytime maps, players shouldn’t take flares unless they are part of a small, well-coordinated team that wants to signal an attack.
But the night maps are where the flares really shine. To see well on night maps, players need to wear night vision goggles. The flares work like long-lasting flashbangs for anyone wearing these NVGs. This forces enemies to either take off their goggles and keep fighting with a huge disadvantage or leave the fight altogether and make a strategic escape. Flares aren’t something players will want to keep in their loadouts all the time, but they will want to swap these throwables in for night ops.
Flashbang
This throwable is a great way to add some versatility to a loadout that has a lot of stopping power against troops. The flashbangs in BattleBit Remastered don’t hurt enemies, but they blind players for a very long time and make them unable to move for several seconds. In this way, the flashbang throwables are a lot like flares; they are meant to make enemies run away so they can’t be picked off easily in a battle.
Unlike fireworks, flashbangs can be used for many different things. These things that can be thrown work very well on both the day and night versions of the BattleBit Remastered maps. For these throwables to do the most damage, enemies need to be looking at the flashbang when it blasts. However, even enemies who aren’t looking at the grenade will be confused when it goes off. Flares might hurt targets more in night maps, but flashbangs can still do a good job. This is reason enough for any player to keep these throwables in their arsenal.
Impact Grenade
It’s frustrating when you hurt an enemy and they run away around a curve. The answer to this problem is the impact grenade, which can be thrown. It’s great for quick, explosive finishes on enemies who have been hurt.
The frag grenade is usually a much better choice because it explodes slowly and can do a lot of damage. However, the impact grenade has some extra uses that can’t be ignored. It’s very helpful to be able to look in a certain direction and put out an explosive warhead in a matter of seconds, and it works well with loadouts that focus on “running and gunning” the enemy team.
Smoke Grenade
This thing that can be thrown might be the most useful thing a BattleBit Remastered player has. Many of the game’s maps have big, open spaces where teams get stuck and can’t move toward the next goal. Sometimes, all it takes to beat the enemy is a well-timed escape with a good SMG build. But this is usually not possible in game settings like Eggy Car. When the only way to move forward is to attack head-on, smoke bombs are the best way to do it.
These things you can throw make a grey haze wherever they hit, making it hard for the enemy to see for a long time. When players throw smoke grenades, they open up a chance for their whole team. With a couple of well-placed smokes, dozens of players can rush forward and crush the other team. On sniper-heavy maps like Wakistan, these throwables are almost a must-have, so they should be part of any well-rounded loadout.
Frag Grenade
The base frag grenade is the most lethal thing you can throw in BattleBit Remastered. This high explosion device can’t go wrong for the player. The frag grenade is a great, versatile tool for getting rid of enemy infantry. And it’s the best at what it does, with the exception of some explosives in the loadout’s gadget spot.
This utility is often used to kill enemy groups, and if it is placed perfectly. It can be used to kill more than half a dozen enemies all at once. There is no more powerful bomb than the good old frag grenade. Which is why every player should have at least one in their arsenal.
