Octane: Fast And Furious
At first view, Octane may look like the best Skirmisher, but his skills don’t quite live up to the hype. His tactical power, Stim, can give him a much-needed speed boost to help him get out of tight spots, but it costs him health. And let’s face it, in a game where every bit of life counts, giving it up for speed isn’t always the best choice.
His passive power, “Swift Mend,” helps him heal over time, but the time it takes is just long enough that it isn’t very useful in high-pressure situations. Lastly, his ultimate ability, Launch Pad, can be useful in some situations, but it’s not as flexible as some of the other Skirmishers’ ultimates and only gives him a limited tactical edge. So, Octane might be a fun and flashy Legend to play, but he’s not very good at being a Skirmisher.
Horizon: Gravity’s Playground
Horizon may have some amazing gravity-based skills, but she is not a top Skirmisher Legend. Her ability to plan ahead Gravity Lift can give players a unique advantage by lifting them into the air, but it’s not always the most useful skill to have in a firefight.
Her best skill was Black Hole may seem like a strong ability, but it isn’t always stable and can depend on the situation. Horizon is a fun and interesting Legend to play, but she isn’t quite good enough at Skirmishing to make it to the top of our rankings. Even though Horizon isn’t the best Skirmisher, we still have to give her props for her out-of-this-world skills and the way she can play with gravity.
Wraith: Shift And Rift
Wraith is a great choice if you want a Skirmisher Legend who can help you and your team stay one step ahead of the competition. Wraith’s strategy ability, “Into the Void,” makes her invulnerable for four seconds while she moves or hides. This gives her the edge she needs to flank enemies and get out of tight spots. And if you need to go farther, you can use her ultimate power, “Dimensional Rift,” which opens two portals that you and your team can use to get to safety.
Wraith’s mystery past and cryptic voice lines make her a bit of a puzzle, but there’s no doubt that she’s a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. She’s hard to catch and always one step ahead. She’s like a ninja crossed with a ghost. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to play as a badass who can move between dimensions, see danger coming, and disappear in the blink of an eye? Wraith may be a secret, but one thing is certain: she knows how to do her job.
Valkyrie: Taking Skirmishing Skyward
Move over, Iron Man, because there’s a new hero in the sky. With her passive VTOL Jets, Valkyrie’s ability to fly takes the high ground to a whole new level. Not only does she have a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield, but her tactical skill, Missile Swarm, lets her rain destruction on her enemies. If that wasn’t enough, her ultimate ability, Skyward Dive, lets her and her team soar into the sky like beautiful eagles and then dive back down to earth in style.
With Valkyrie on your team, you’ll be able to move both up and down and side to side, which makes her a top choice for any team that wants to rule from above. Just don’t get too caught up in the thrill of flying, or you could end up crashing and burning, which is exactly what could happen. But hey, if there’s no risk, there’s no gain, right?
Pathfinder: Ultimate Wingman
Pathfinder is the best person to have on a team. He or she is the hidden hero of any Slope Game group. With his Grappling Hook, he can reach heights that even birds envy, and his Insider Knowledge can help him find his way around Apex Legends‘ constantly changing landscape. And don’t forget the Zipline Gun, which is the best tool for strategic getaways and sneaky flanks. Pathfinder is a Legend that can help and move your team in ways that no other Legend can.
With Pathfinder on your side, you’ll feel like you’re playing “The Floor is Lava,” but this time you’ll be the one who always stays on top. Pathfinder is the best Skirmisher Legend because he is fast, useful, and funny all at the same time.
